Primary duties
- Support complex application design, development, modification, testing, implementation, documentation and production support in a mainframe environment.
- Lead complex programming initiatives.
Minimum qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design and programming.
- 4+ years of experience in a lead capacity.
- 7+ years of hands-on mainframe programming experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2 and IMS.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualifying experience.
Preferred skills and background
- Experience leading complex mainframe application development and modernization initiatives.
- Experience working with enterprise databases and transaction-processing environments.
- Experience collaborating directly with business and technical stakeholders.
Schedule and work conditions
- Onsite 5 days a week initially; may transition to up to 2 days of telework based on project requirements.
